Day 01: Australia-Shanghai
Board your overnight flight to Shanghai, meal on board
Day 02: Arrive Shanghai
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel for your overnight stay. Free of leisure in the afternoon.
Day 03: Shanghai City tour (B,L,D)
Welcome to Shanghai! Today enjoy Shanghai city tour include visit to the bund, People's Square, Shanghai Museum, Chenghuang market old town,Xin Tian Di up Market area, after dinner travel upto the World Financial Centre for the panoramic view of Shanghai at night.
Day 04: Depart Shanghai (5:00pm) (B,D)
After hotel breakfast, free of leisure in Shanghai, you can leave your luggage at hotel concierge desk and do your shopping or sightseeing at your own pace, later in the afternoon, we will transfer you to the wharf to board your 9 days Victoria cruise on the Mighty Yangtze river.
Day 05: Shanghai-Nanjing (B,L,D)
12:00pm/18:30pm half day shore excursion of Nanjing, a city tour includes Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple;
Day 06: Arrive Huangshan (B,L,D)
7:00am/17:00pm shore excursion of Mt. Huangshan;
Day 07: Huangshan- Wuhan (B,L,D)
16:00/19:00 shore excursion of Wuhan, visit the Rare Stone Museum, or take a walking tour.
Day 08: Sailing through Yangtze River (B,L,D)
Today we pass through two of the most spectacular
gorges on the Yangtze. First is the Wu Gorge, we then transfer to a local boat and
cruise the crystal clear waters of the Lesser Gorges. See historic sites such as
the 2000-year-old hanging coffins of the Ba people and an ancient plank road carved
into the side of the cliff. You'll dock along the river's banks for lunch as you
take in some of the river's most scenic landscapes. Once back on board we pass through
Qutang Gorge, the last of the 3 Gorges.
Day 09: Arrive Yichang, (B,L,D)
8:00am/9:30am sail through Gezhou Dam, 13:00pm/15:30 visit Three Gorges Dam site, 16:00pm/20:00pm sail through Three Gorges Dam ship lock;
Day 10: Wu Gorge (B,L,D)
Morning visit Wu Gorge,9:00am/14:00 shore excursion to Daning River and Small Three Gorges; Sail through QuTang Gorge
Day 11: Fengdu (B,L,D)
8:30am/12:00pm shore excursion of Fengdu- Famous Ghost city
Day 12: Chongqing-Australia (B,L)
Arrive Chongqing in the morning at 8:30am, transfer to downtown and start your city tour include a visit to the goose park, People's hall, Jiefangbei, last minute shopping and lunch, later transfer to airport for your flight to Australia.
Day 13: Arrive Australia
Arrive home in the morning with great memories of lifetime of The Magnificent Yangtze River.
